Cruising

Wildlife & Pleasure

The local coastline and islands of Skomer, Skokholm and Grassholm offer internationally significant wildlife habitats for species such as puffins, razorbills, guillemots, gannets, shear-waters, grey seals, dolphins and porpoises.

If you wish to experience this spectacular natural environment in relevant comfort and at your own pace why not charter your own vessel. Trips can be tailored to your requirements whether solely opting for an island trip or combining it with a little fishing and perhaps a swim or barbecue in a sheltered bay.

Corporate Days

A day of fishing, wildlife sighting, swimming and dining is a fantastic shared experience and fun day out that will relax your team and bring them together. Get everyone catching and gutting their own fish for the barbecue, swimming with seals and getting to know the sea birds and mammals. Alternatively, have a cruise up the Cleddau Estuary, see the vessels that work in a port that provides some 20% of the UK’s gas and petroleum products, enter the tranquil and scenic upper reaches of the river around Burton and Lawrenny and stop for a pint and a meal.

Photography Work Shops

If you have an interest in photography, then why not take a group out to explore the birds and marine mammals around the islands of Skomer, Skokholm and Grassholm. The gannet colony on Grassholm is a particularly awe inspiring sight. A late afternoon/early evening charter is best for natural light. The complex rock structures on the mainland are also illuminated as the sun drops in the West. July to September are particularly good for dolphin spotting. If you want to see Puffins then May and June are the prime months as most of the auks disappear by the end of July.

Rates
